Together with the SPoTlight Productions team from Skatepark of Tampa, we are putting together the 1st Annual CPH PRO 2007 in Copenhagen, Denmark at Copenhagen Skatepark.

Please Join Us for the “Ultimate Euro Week” this Summer:

We start with the 1st Annual CPH PRO where there will be three days of great skateboarding, partying, and good times!

Straight after we go to Roskilde Festival, which is the Woodstock of Europe and only a 40-minute train ride from Copenhagen Skatepark. Located on the festival venue there is a 2000 sq. ft. concrete skate park with a smooth bowl and a good vert ramp.

Three days before the Roskilde Festival begins (Monday – Wednesday) we are organizing some smaller skate comps and demos for the 80,000 people that camp out there all week.

On Thursday the festival starts with a line up of over 200 bands, lasting over four days. Some of the bands are The RHCP, The Who, Slayer, Bjork, My Chemical Romance, and The Beastie Boys, just to name a few.

We can offer free tickets to Roskilde to any pros interested in skating the Contests or Demos there. Please contact us for details.

- A beer in a bar is 30 kroner ($5)

More About the 1st Annual CPH PRO:

The Contest is non-profit and all earnings go toward making it the best, most fun, and well-respected Pro Contest in Europe. As of April 6th, the current purse is $30,000, but it will be increasing and we’ll inform you as it does.

"In a declining market, it's very important to help and support the companies that give the market strength and personality."

It’s a known fact that the pro boards sales has gone down over the years, with too many local brands, blank boards, and so on.

The pros are still a must for the skateboarding scene and there is a strong demand to experience them live, especially in Copenhagen.

With the increasing market of local brands it’s important for the international brands to keep showing up for events where skateboarding is respected and held at a proper skate park, as opposed to big sports arenas and such.

The skate parks in northern Europe are essential to the scene and by hosting big competitions the exposure stays in the park all year round.

It would be our honor to host any and all professional skateboarders at the 1st Annual CPH PRO.
